The National Betting Authority would like to inform the public that, in light of the continuing spread of coronavirus COVID-19, the Republic of Cyprus has adopted a series of measures to safeguard Public Health and curb the spread of the virus. One of the measures is the mandatory suspension of operations of ALL land-based betting premises.<\/p>\n

The suspension of operations will take effect from 6a.m. of the 16th of March for a period of 4 weeks.<\/p>\n

The affected betting premises are kindly requested to receive information of the support measures that the Government has announced.<\/p>\n

The measures include, among others, \u201cPlan for the Suspension of Operations\u201d, suspension of payment as well as a reduction in VAT.<\/p>\n
