The National Betting Authority is systematically publishing quarterly reports on the Financial Results and Quantitative Data for the period starting January 2015 to the current quarter. The goal of this publication is the maximization of transparency and better public awareness.
The results for the quarter of 2020 (July-September) that are presented are derived from the detailed financial statements of Class A and B licenced bookmakers, as well as from the data that are stored to the Authority’s registry.

The National Betting Authority would like to inform its licencees that, according to the decree of the Minister of Health dated 28 November 2020, all Class A bookmakers, authorized agents and responsible persons (where applicable), will need to follow the updated measures to curb the Covid-19 pandemic that will be applied starting from 30 November 2020.
All licencees must comply with the decrees and instructions issued by the Ministry of Health, to protect public health and to prevent the spread of Covid-19 coronavirus
The National Betting Authority (hereinafter referred to as the “Authority”), exercising the powers which derive from Article 15 (o) of the Betting Law, 37 (I)/2019 (hereinafter the “Law”), as amended or replaced, prepares recommendations on amendments needed to the existing legislation on betting and related sectors, launches today on November 30, 2020 a public consultation on the draft law of the National Betting Authority and its amending draft law on the Betting Law.
Under the framework of legality, transparency, and commitment for a continuous relationship with its stakeholders, as well as in the implementation of the Strategic Planning for 2020-2022, the Authority launches a public consultation on the draft Law of the National Betting Authority and the amending draft Law on the Betting Law, in order to obtain the views and suggestions of all stakeholders. The purpose of these draft laws is, on the one hand to optimize the operation of the Authority and on the other hand, to upgrade and improve the regulatory and supervisory framework, to develop and enhance the viability of the sector, to create incentives for start-ups and to strengthen the methods for the fight against illegal gambling.
Therefore, stakeholders are invited to submit their views on the provisions of the draft laws to the email address [email protected] by 11 December 2020. It is noted that the draft laws were presented to the Authority’s licensees for an informal consultation.
