Important Announcement on the measures for the curbing of coronavirus spread

The National Betting Authority would like to inform the public that, in light of the continuing spread of coronavirus COVID-19, the Republic of Cyprus has adopted a series of measures to safeguard Public Health and curb the spread of the virus. One of the measures is the mandatory suspension of operations of ALL land-based betting premises.

The suspension of operations will take effect from 6a.m. of the 16th of March for a period of 4 weeks.

The affected betting premises are kindly requested to receive information of the support measures that the Government has announced.

The measures include, among others, “Plan for the Suspension of Operations”, suspension of payment as well as a reduction in VAT.
